Faith based and black owned. The Coco Shoppe is a luxury skincare and self-care brand founded by myself, Olivia Sparks. The idea sparked in my head when I became a mother. My daughter suffered from eczema at a very young age and after taking her to numerous doctor's a realized that a prescription wasn't that answer. I did a bunch of research and created my very first product, whipped body butter.
That butter was the start of it all. My daughter turned 5 this year and she hasn't had a breakout in the last 3-4 years. I soon realized that I've always had the cure to my daughter's issue. I need to take a more natural and simple route.
In 2016, I had an accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down. That was a traumatic injury that took a lot of me. I began to doubt myself. I took my disability as an opportunity to beat the odds. So, on May 17, 2019, I launched The Coco Shoppe. I not only was celebrating 3 years with my disability, but the beginning of a new journey as an entrepreneur.
My mission is to make sure that every woman, man, boy, and girl had an opportunity to love and enjoy the skin that they are in. The skin is the largest organ we posses and each and every one of us should flaunt it. I promise to provide quality products to help promote healthy skin and skin that you can love.
